I'll drive an Espada on the Malecon in Havana at the early morning light. The roads are empty and quiet, the sun is starting to glow, I can smell the sea and for the first time in years, I'm truly happy.

I get excited whenever I see any Lamborghini, and an Espada is no exception...
...however I always think back to an article I read (I want to say from either Autoweek or the duPont Registry) about taking an Espada to Barrett Jackson to auction. They called it 'the Refrigerator' because it was painted refrigerator white. They referred to it idling rough, and when it came time to put it on the block, it wouldn't start and they had to push it. It went unsold with the highest bid being somewhere in the mid-$20K range. The author didn't like the car and his contempt showed in his writing. It was a funny article, and unfortunately the Espada will always be tainted by this memory for me.
